Mission: Re-framing Mental Health
We are committed to the belief each human being is more than simply the episodes of his or her life, although for some, mental illness can prevent that truth from being clearly seen or experienced. To serve those who are without resources to help themselves live the fullness of their human dignity, their God-given right, is the mission of Dsquared. We take seriously this proverbial wisdom. "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act" (Pro 3.27)
Three Phase Plan
Phase I: Prevention of Homelessness
Meeting the independent Seriously Mentally Ill (SMI) client where they are and providing housing related resources so that they remain self sufficient, productive members of society.
Phase II Adopt A Family program
Monthly commitment to help families caught in the gap.
Phase III Long-term and Transitional Housing
Housing isn't just about a house, it's a path to recovery, safety and security. It’s a place where they can rediscover hope, renew their purpose and restore their dignity.
